The Challenge
To help grow Telecom, Internet and voice business by promoting products to both new and existing direct customer base through professional sales techniques and establishing long
term relationships.
Responsibilities
Working as part of a team you will be allocated a territory to source new clients whilst managing an existing database of clients and cross sell the full range of products in to.
This is an exciting role which will enable the right candidate to fully utilise their sales and
commercial skills in order to meet or exceed the sales objectives for their territory.
· Grow and cross sell their portfolio of voice and data products in to the existing
direct customer base via telephone and customer facing meetings
· Meet and exceed set sales targets
· Understand and adhere to set sales strategy based on high value retention vs
growth target customers
· Identify sales opportunities within the existing base in order to capitalise on
maximum sales growth
· Meet the minimum sales call volume on a weekly basis
· Conduct regular account review meetings/conduct dependant on customer
type
· Understand and keep abreast of competition, their issues, products, pricing and
markets for voice and data solutions
· Provide support and day to day account management to allocated direct
customers
· Assist other departments in resolving customer issues to help retain client when
escalated from the Customer Support Team or other departments; including
billing queries, serious fault calls and general account questions
· Prepare written presentations, customer demonstrations, costs saving analyses
and product quotations
· Log all sales leads and manage these on a day to day basis
· Update and provide accurate sales order and forecasting figures
Requirements
In addition to have excellent sales, communication and account management
experience the ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of the telecomms industry,
including broadband and Ethernet, SIP, and TDM technologies. This will be combined
with excellent customer facing skills and the ability to deal with a wide variety of
customers.
· Experience of the voice and data market is desirable
· Success in selling business to business products
· An enthusiastic self starter, who will take ownership of projects
· Hardworking with a ‘can do’ attitude
· Self confident with the ability to overcome objections and accept rejection
