JOB SPECIFICATION

Job title: Merchandising and Training Coordinator – Export Sales Dept
Location: North Germany / Ruhrgebiet
Salary: E22-28k, dependent upon skills and experience (plus company bonus scheme)
Benefits: Company vehicle, mobile phone

The successful candidate will have the following duties to perform:-
• Visit retail outlets throughout Germany, BeNeLux and Austria in order to:
- Ensure their product displays are neat clean, tidy and full
- Provide product information training to the sales staff
• Attend consumer and trade shows around the world
- Shows would not be confined to Europe; trips to USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and other countries may be required at times
• Support distributors in their contacts with end users and trade partners by providing high quality product information and training.

Required skills & attributes:-
• Clean driving license
• Willingness to travel a lot, including regular overnight stays away from home
• Fluency in English and German is essential
• Well presented, enthusiastic and self motivated; able to work independently for long periods, as well as part of a team.

Desirable attributes
• A working knowledge of additional languages would be beneficial
• A knowledge of and an interest in motorcycling and/or cycling would be advantageous.
